Description: Angie goes undercover as the long lost daughter of contract killer William Franks. A notorious assassin, he hasn’t seen his daughter since she was a three year old when he was imprisoned for the murder of his wife. Once again a free man, Undercover has received intelligence that suggests Franks is back to business, this time to take out anti-Islamic pop philosopher and author, Joseph Valentine. Much to Harris’ chagrin, Valentine is dismissive of the possibility of a hit taking place against him, his fervent ego driving him towards notions of invincibility.

Angie has no qualms about deceiving Franks, a convicted killer, but as she gets closer and learns of his devotion to his departed wife, she begins to wonder if her target may have been wrongly convicted. Harris responds strongly to Angie’s doubts, advising her not to give into false compassion - the case against Franks for his wife’s murder was watertight.

Franks’ position as the key suspect for the intended hit on Valentine is confirmed when a serious attempt is made on Valentine’s life by an unseen assailant. Harris decides it’s time to take Angie out from her cover position, but when Church can’t locate her or Franks, it starts to look very much like something has gone wrong. This fear is confirmed when it’s revealed that Franks’ real daughter has come forward and made contact, effectively blowing Angie’s cover.

In the desperate hope of finding Angie, a known associate of Franks is dragged in for questioning. Harris turns on the pressure but there’s not much the man can offer – all he knows is that William Franks is not the man hired to do the job on Valentine, it’s another hitman, Seamus O’Halloran.

With Angie’s life in the balance, the unit can’t fathom Franks’ possible involvement in the Valentine hit, or his whereabouts. It’s only at the eleventh hour, in a hostage situation, that Angie discovers Franks’ true heartfelt purpose.

Media Release: Another strong episodeof a reliable local drama that deserves a better timeslot. Tonight, it's all about Angie (Kate Kendall), who goes undercover to pretend she's the daughter of a hitman who has spent 27 years in jail an dhas only a brief recollection of his child. She manages to fool him (the real daughter provided DNA to the police to help the deception), but things go slightly awry when the real daughter throws a spanner in the works.

Watch for: a not-so-tasty pizza delivery.
