Description: When Church’s attempt to be introduced to drug impresario Jake Taylor fails, Angie suggests another way to get the goods on Taylor. His wife, Veronica, is clearly being beaten by Jake and might provide information on him. Angie "accidentally" meets Veronica at the beach using Josh to establish her cover as a young mum.

Church meets with informant and paranoid conspiracy theorist Stevey Dawes. Dawes tells Church he has information about a factory job in Essendon. Unconvinced Church handballs the information to Sophie to check out. She gets a denial from the factory in question but is shocked to find herself hauled in for interrogation by two Intelligence Agents. The agents confirm there was a robbery but it’s top secret. They want to talk to Dawes and Church agrees to cooperate. Undercover discover someone may be planning to explode a dirty bomb using Cesium taken from pressure gauges stolen from the factory.

An anxious Dawes meets Church and gives him the name of a terrorist sleeper in exchange for 10 grand. The Intelligence Agents arrest Jamil Al Rawi , and despite his claims of innocence they interrogate him ruthlessly. When they resort to torture Harris interrupts the interrogation. Furious at the agents, Harris is determined to get more information on Dawes. Using security camera footage Church and Flynn turn up a different name for Dawes – Paul Docker. Docker has form for a minor assault a few years ago after a Family Court decision went against him.

Meanwhile Veronica Taylor has been hospitalised after a "fall". Angie fronts her. She reveals she's a cop and appeals to Veronica to break the cycle of violence by helping them nail her husband Jake Taylor. Determined to protect her son, Veronica Taylor finally agrees to cooperate to get the goods on her husband.

Tipped off by an anonymous caller, Jamil Al Rawi’s wife and daughter turn up at PHQ and reveal his only crime is tax evasion. Chris takes them home to find their house has been ransacked and a security pass to the Family Court is missing. Flynn advises that the Judge who presided over Dawes’ court case is in court today. Church presents the hypothetical scenario that Dawes has the Cesium and plans to explode a dirty bomb in the Family Court as retribution. Harris reluctantly agrees to check out the Courts. Church finds Dawes in the plant room of the Family Court about to contaminate the building through the air conditioning unit. Church talks to Dawes and manages to grab the vial of Cesium. Church is hospitalised with minor radiation burns but Dawes dies of extreme radiation exposure. Despite his innocence Jamil Al Rawi is deported. Moved by the Dawes custody case Harris feels the need to spend some time with his son.
