Description: Internal Affairs arrives and takes over the unit, investigating the unit, however specifically Bernie, for corruption. Business is as per usual with Church doing a drug deal, however when the drugs are tampered with and money in Bernie's safe turns up unaccountered for, is it possible Internal Affairs have legitimate claims when they suspend Bernie? Church refuses to believe Bernie's crooked, going out and risking his own job to save him, but is it too late?

Media Release: The tables are turned on the undercover squad in the return episode of this no-frills Melbourne police drama that made its mark late last year. An officer from the internal investigations unit (Lewis Fitzgerald, from RFDS among the credits) gatecrashes the Stingers operations center in a tip-off about corruption. The man under the gun is squad chief Bernie Rocca (Joe Petruzzi) who can't explain why some heroin is missing and why there's a spare $40,000 in his safe. All the regular cast return for the second season, with Peter Phelps carrying much of the burden and the Melbourne locations providing some interesting talking points.
