Always has something to say though, most times it probably shouldn't be said.
His words often get him into trouble, though he's keen eye doesn't always work.

Bryan Gray was the Head of the Armed Robbery Squad, but was demoted after a misdemeanor and then was offered a place in the Special Operations Squad. Bryan remains one of the biggest 'pains-in-the-butts' in the police force, and the Stingers team don't look forward to their dealings with him.

A lot has happened to Bryan since he first appeared at the start of Series III (2000) - he has been stabbed, shot in the leg and - most memorably - shot in the backside! He clearly had the hots for Ellen - who told him in no uncertain terms to back off - which lead to Bryan thinking she was a lesbian! Always saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, Bryan doesn't seem to know when to quit!
